Michálek, Ltd. company was established in 1995 as a locksmith workshop with one production shop and the total number of 6 employees, dealing only with manufacturing to order. During the following years, the company has dynamically extended to the current form of a medium-sized engineering company with the number of 65 employees working in two production sites.

Chrudim – Píšťovy site is created by one shop floor and is designated especially for production of parts from stainless material. This site employs 12 locksmiths and welders.

Chrudim – Čáslavská site is the headquarters of the company. This site consists of a newly built administration building and two production sites. 20 white-collar workers and on average 40 blue-collar workers (toolers, locksmiths, welders …) work there in total.

The manufacturing background of the company enables the production of both smaller and also large-sized weldments and workpieces of high quality and the production volume of ca 50 to 100 tons monthly. The main production content remains manufacturing according to provided documentation for various industrial sectors, but at the same time there has been a design-construction group in the company since 1999 (within the cableway department), which deals with both production preparation and also development, design and construction especially in the sector of cableway transportation. The result of the work of this department is currently construction and design processing of all known types of ski lifts (low cable line ski lifts, one-seat and two-seat cylinder ski lifts, telescopic lifts), design solutions of several overhauled cableways (two-seat and also four-seat ones), construction processing of moving pavements, design co-operation with the Austrian company Brandauer in designing bobsleigh tracks, etc.

At technical and workshop work all workers follow regulations and work processes which lead to reaching the highest quality of the production for full satisfaction of both domestic and foreign customers. The company is a holder of “Big welding certificate according to DIN 18800, part 7”. In the device certification area in the line of cableway transport we co-operate with the certification company TÜV CZ Ltd., which is a subsidiary of TÜV SÜD.
